1. Tube Feeding

• • Blood collection tubes are manually loaded into the tube hopper.
  • The feeding system automatically separates and transfers individual tubes onto the roller guide track.

2. Tube Orientation and Transfer

• • Tubes move continuously along the roller guide system.
  • The specially designed feeding mechanism prevents tube jamming, breakage, and misalignment during operation.

3. Tube Detection

• • A photoelectric sensor detects the presence of each tube as it reaches the labeling station.
  • The sensor sends a signal to the label dispensing unit for label release.

4. Label Dispensing

• • The label applicator automatically dispenses the pre-printed label from the label roll.
  • The label is accurately positioned and released onto the surface of the rotating tube.

5. Label Application

• • The tube rotates between the roller guide and label pressing assembly.
  • The label is wrapped uniformly around the tube circumference to ensure wrinkle-free and bubble-free application.

6. Online Printing

• • After label application, the online printer prints variable information directly onto the label.
  • Typical printing details include:
    • Batch Number
    • Manufacturing Date
    • Expiry Date
    • Product Code
    • Barcode / QR Code
    • Serial Number

7. Print Verification (Optional Vision Inspection)

• • A vision inspection camera verifies the printed information.
  • The system checks barcode readability, print clarity, label position, and data accuracy.

8. Rejection of Defective Tubes (Optional)

• • Tubes with missing labels, skewed labels, unreadable barcodes, or printing defects are automatically rejected.

9. Collection and Transfer

• • Successfully labeled and printed tubes are collected in trays or transferred directly to the next manufacturing process, such as additive dosing or packaging.
