BCT Gel Filling Machine
Operational Process
-
The BCT Gel Filling Machine is designed for precise and consistent dispensing of separation gel into blood collection tubes used in diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, and clinical testing facilities. The machine ensures controlled gel dosing according to the required tube specifications, supporting uniform filling and reliable product quality. Its precision filling mechanism helps minimize gel wastage and maintain consistency throughout the production process.
-
Designed for efficient operation, the machine can accommodate different blood collection tube sizes and gel filling requirements, depending on the machine configuration. Automated or semi-automatic filling functions help reduce manual handling, improve dosing accuracy, and enhance production efficiency. The system can also be integrated into blood collection tube manufacturing lines to support a streamlined production workflow.
Separation of Rubber Vacuum Deforming: –
The process begins with the separation and preparation of rubber components used in the blood collection tube production process. The system organizes the rubber vacuum deforming components and prepares them for the subsequent tube loading and processing stages.
The separation mechanism helps ensure that the components are individually positioned and available for the required operation. Proper component handling supports a smooth workflow and reduces the possibility of feeding errors.
Depending on the machine configuration, the separation system may use mechanical guides or automated feeding mechanisms. This helps maintain consistent component handling and improves overall operational efficiency.
Automatic Tube Loading: –
Empty blood collection tubes are supplied to the automatic tube loading station. The feeding mechanism organizes the tubes and transfers them into the designated holders or filling positions.
The automatic loading system positions the tubes according to the machine’s predefined arrangement. Consistent positioning is essential for accurate gel filling and synchronized operation across multiple filling heads.
Once the tubes are loaded, the machine transfers them toward the detection and filling stations. Automated tube handling reduces manual intervention and supports continuous production.
Tube Loading Quantity Detection: –
After loading, the detection system checks whether the required number of tubes has been positioned correctly in the loading area. Sensors verify tube presence and help identify empty or incorrectly occupied positions.
This inspection helps ensure that the filling cycle begins only when the required tube arrangement is available. It can also reduce unnecessary gel dispensing and interruptions caused by missing tubes.
The detected information is communicated to the machine control system, which coordinates the next operation. This supports synchronized filling and helps maintain consistent production performance.
Tube Loading and Pouring Detection: –
At this stage, the machine checks tube loading conditions and detects whether tubes are correctly positioned for the gel filling operation. Depending on the installed sensors, the system may identify missing tubes, incorrect placement, or other loading abnormalities.
The detection mechanism helps ensure that each tube is properly aligned beneath its designated filling head. Correct positioning is important for delivering gel into the intended location and minimizing filling errors.
The control system uses the detection signals to coordinate machine operation and respond to identified irregularities. This helps improve process reliability and reduces the risk of filling empty or improperly positioned tubes.
Automatic Gel Filling (20 Filling Heads): –
The automatic gel filling station dispenses separation gel into the blood collection tubes using 20 filling heads. The multi-head configuration enables several tubes to be filled during the same operating cycle, helping increase production throughput.
The filling mechanism delivers the specified quantity of gel according to the selected product parameters. Appropriate control of the filling volume and dispensing sequence helps maintain consistency between tubes and minimizes unnecessary gel wastage.
The machine can be configured to accommodate the required tube specifications and gel characteristics, subject to its design capabilities. Regular verification of filling volume, gel placement, and process settings helps maintain the required product quality.
Filled Tube Discharge: –
After gel filling is completed, the filled blood collection tubes are transferred to the discharge station. The discharge mechanism removes or releases the tubes from their filling positions in a controlled manner.
The tubes are then directed toward a collection area, tray, or downstream processing equipment, depending on the production line configuration. Proper discharge helps prevent congestion and supports smooth movement between manufacturing stages.
Finally, the discharged tubes can undergo further inspection or proceed to the next production operation. Consistent handling at this stage helps maintain workflow efficiency and prepares the filled tubes for subsequent manufacturing processes.
